hello everyone picked up my phase 1 5gt turbo on sunday and loving it so far got lots of plans for her, i think it may have been a members old car as it has a rtoc sticker in the rear window this is just a guess though but if anyones knows about the car just drop me a pm. hope to get to some meets and shows this year. im not using her as a daily as i have a few other cars but it has full mot and 6 months tax so just need to insure it when i get the chance. love the site seems to be very friendly and loads of info i have a few issues with the car so im gonna need some help im pretty good with cars and done up quite a few but this is my first 5 so its all learning from here :) Ive always loved the 5 gt turbos and so far im not disappointed but i suppose ive only had her for a day lol

it was on ebay but i didnt see it on there i saw it advertised else where i got it for 1k in the end :)

it looks good other than bonnet but good buy hopefully its tidy underneath aswell keep the pictures comeing and get a project thread

That engine must have iceicles hanging off it with that much scoop action! :)
Plenty of good standard seats floating around atm and you can get a bonnet off mike at gt turbo spares

thanks for the comments people loving the car and site already seem very freindly compared to some other sites im a member of for my other cars. yes the bonnet is going straight away im not to bothered avbout the colour of the new bonnet as the car will be getting a full respray when the weather picks up, and ill get a project thread going when i get some more pics. underneath is solid no rust anywhere on the car which is one of the main reasons i went for it that and its a c reg dont seem to see many c regs unless thasts just me :)

thanks everyone ill get some more pics up thurs gonna spend a few hours on it thurs. engine is pretty clean looks to have had a bit of money spent on it ill get a pic up of that too. colour wise its not the orginal phase 1 blue it looks to be the phase 2 blue im not a massive fan but like i say it will get a full respray in a colour i have already chosen :)
