The first few times I try to boost as boost builds and gets to 10lb it starts to struggle, sort of feels like its missing and wont boost any higher, two or three times like this and then its ok,boosts to 16lb and does the same on full boost only not as bad, before everything is ok and car boosts fine. This morning I changed reference points for the actuator to the outlet on the carb top with the smallest hole, this should have seen the boost increase, I think?but didn't the boost stayed the same 16psi.

It could be another faulty actuator. Have you checked that?

For those that are interested which going by the replies isn't alot.lol
The turbo company asked for the unit back yesterday, courier picked it up today. They said they think there's too much back pressure in the exhaust housing which is causing the actuator to play up.

Yes I no mate.I'm only messing. The exhaust housing was split into two with the penny and turbine wheel in like seperate compartments, they said normally this helps with flow but in this instance it dosent, still not seen one like this before.:agree:
