First post!

Hi everyone pick up my first 5 gt on Sunday looking forward to it, it's a phase 1 body styling not to my taste but ill be changing that first thing. If anyone knows the car any info would be great hope to get to some shows and meets when I've finished sorting it out.

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

thanks everyone i ill become a full member tomorrow once i have her home just didnt want to join incase something bad happens im sure it wont. the car has an rtoc sticker in the rear window i was just wondering if it was anyones car on here at some point would be great to get some more info on it as it has no paperwork with it. first thing to go will be the bonnet and i shall be returning the bumpers back to black along with the side skirts etc cant wait to get started on it :)

Looks a good basis to make a nice car from. It was posted up on one of the Facebook pages recently and someone there knew a bit about it.

oh right dont suppose you have a link do you at all, the lad im buying it of got it from Gainsborough. yeah its a good solid car no rot or anything. the oil pressure gauge doesnt work but ive been reading this could be down to dirt in the sensor or plug soi will clean that out when i get it see if it works, and also get rid of the bleed valve on it as there one of my pet hates. ive got a few sets of wheels im gonna try on it that are on my other car, its had a new clutch but seems a litle hard to get in reverse some times when cold. it also it has subaru seats in the front so gonna be on the look out for some orginals and also ill be respraying it later this year :)
