Sorry for the late reply to this thread, work has been mental this last few weeks and isnt likely to get quieter any time soon.

I have been working away at this one and am in discussion with the organiser to see what sort of club space we can get on the day. There are no allocated camping areas other than familly and regular camping but we can all pitch up in the same area anyway. As for ticket prices, i dont think i can wangle any discount on this one but leave it with me ;)

Sorry guys, totally missed the thread for some reason.

Ive spoken the David who owns the show and we've got a stand for 20 cars. This is the maximum number allowed at the moment due to the popularity of the event.

All im waiting on now is the finer details of the tickets and stand passes. As soon as this is made clear, i'll update this.

I'm still waiting to hear on tickets etc but rest assured, when it all comes together, it will be a good one.

Anyone wanting to run their car up the hill must get there early and get signed on immediately. Last year all the slots sold out within an hour!

Finally some concrete information for you.

I received an email from the organisers today:

Retro Rides Gathering Club Update
Passes will be out next week!

Hello!

We're just dropping this brief note to all the clubs that have booked space for the Retro Rides Gathering event firstly to tell you passes should be out next week (pending printing going smoothly, postage to us working and not getting too many paper cuts stuffing envelopes!).

Secondly we're going to the site over the weekend to measure up the club stands and work out where we're going to put you all (it is hell of a line up this year). We think there may well be two club areas this year, just to forewarn you if you've been before you may be using a different entrance!

Thirdly thank you all so much for putting the time and effort into organising a club stand, we hope the show is enjoyable for you.

We'll be dropping you another couple of messages before the event so keep an eye on your inbox.

Rocker cover gasket is split on my phase 2 and my phase 1 still isn't ready for collection. As such, I won't be in a 5 this weekend :cry:

I will be in a Renault turbo though but it will be the most boring vehicle on the stand.

I also had a grate day and nice to put some names to faces, didn't meet as many people as I would of liked due to so many things on there, so will be attending some more rtoc meets in the feature!
I would deffo be up for coming next year in either my 5 or the Venturi again.

Ace day , always is at retro show, was good to see the r5's together , i think next year we should push for a weekend affair , get the camping banter on the go etc.
