hi guys i am trying to remove the glass from my drivers side door but the electric window moter isnt working and the windows up at the moment. any ideas how i can get the window down and unbolt out of guide so i can lift it out thanks :agree:

Take door card off, slacken up clamps and it will do what ever you like. I hated fiddling with mine.

yea got all the door card off but with the window stuck up so cant get to anything :cry: any other ideas jrp thanks for quick reply

What's not working? The motor could you free it up? You can wiggle it down sometimes holding both sides of the glass?

The moters not working theres signal to it tho

play around with wiring plug loads wd40 if no go still pop the cable off motor with a screwdriver and push window down

The motor will unclip from the window mech allowing you to slide window up and down to where you need it. Undo the 3 10mm bolts that hold it to door which should give you enough room

Or put 12v to the contacts on the motor direct and it will move.

Its getting 12v from the switch but moters doing nothing mate

Moters definatly knakerd yea guna pop cable off buddy

you can use a paperclip to power them up like with the fan switch on rad. IF still no good then like said remove motor (3 10mm's and wirring clip and just pop it out of cable, then you will be able to slide it up and down

undo the motor nuts and the upper and lower reg(slider) nuts and it should come down

Yea trouble is i cant get to them with window up i will just pop cable off moter
