Slightly disappointed......

I have not touched my 5 since late October. Crap weather etc so it's stayed holed up in my garage to continue the oe restore once the weather warms up.

I popped out today just to check all was well and the boot tailgate trim (the plastic bit with the gt turbo badge on it) had fallen off the shelf.

It looked ok until I picked it up. The left side end has snapped off. Not a big issue I know but am still quite gutted. Was hoping to keep as much of her original as possible. So that's another bit gone :(

I have lost my enthusiasm a little and things like this just make it tougher......

Oh well- at least I have my new konis and headlights now stashed in the loft :agree:

Wow!! Your car looks awesome mate. Very impressed. How long did that take you to get to this stage?

bought it in april 2012.. so about a year soon.. :) but was a "barn find" had been of the road since 2005.. had to have an engine put in it and a bit of paint, and the window frame repaired..
I chose a 1.8 rsi engine from a clio (mine is a GTE) and danish law says max 20% upgrade in engine power.. 94 hp equals max 112 hp so an rsi engine was best choise..
