knocking

Strange knocking sound which I'm sure is coming form the wateroump area.Its not a metallic knock but a dull noise.Only does it on idle,goes away with revs.Really annoying,had it a while but my listeners arnt the best so can't pinpoint it.

When the cars cold mate, take the belt off and see if it makes the noise then? Obviously don't run it too long.

Could just be the belt is glazed and needs replacing.

No worries dude, when looking for noises like that I cut a coke bottle off at the end and use it as an ear trumpet- you look like a douche but it works. :)

Glad it got sorted, bit off topic but this is the yellow I was talking about

One on right is slightly lighter in the difference between the two
