 somehow they all end up with names.
My split is called 'Herman the German' and my old beetle was called dr spitzenfarts
My old man called his split screen Adolf

Very nice... Whats the plan with it?
Thanks for the comments guys! :)
Very nice... Whats the plan with it?
Short term:
We have an original reconditioned 1600cc engine to go in
Get the interior of the cab done, my dad is currently making his own seat covers (tight git!)
Get it registered and mot'd by the summer
It was originally a bus but were kitting the interior out as a camper. We're making it all ourselves (good interiors cost ££££'s) hopefully the interior will be somewhere near during the summer... Working full time though and a nagging mrs these things take time
Longer term:
Looking at a 2l Subaru engine as its a fairly straight forward conversion
Nice set of alloys
IRS suspension
Maybe look at lowering it
Then enjoy using it! :)

Drop me a PM with your number, I got a mate who has a VM Camper, which he has just build up, the same as on your list LOL...
Watching this, love them :)
