Just a quick one..

Will a JB3 box fit a F4r from a clio 172?

Might be a daft question i know, but have a engine on hand.. :)

Electric speedo drive.. Mine is a GTE and has mecanic drive.. :(

Phase 1 JC5 from 172 and cup up to 2003 I think it is are mechanical speedo drive. After that it came with speedo which picks up off the ABS sensor.

That is an early engine, so you can remove the electronic speed module from the gearbox and install a cable.

The electronic module is the tall black plastic part coming out of the top of the gearbox with a heat shield near to the exhaust manfold. You can see it in your picture. :)
