obviously we all keep an eye on the sales of these type of cars.- one question always seems to be lingering though.

is it better to sell a modified car ( eg: lowered ) or a standard car? particularly where gordini turbo's are concerned?

I kinda see lowering as an adjustment rather than a modification.... unless its silly low maybe?

Difficult to say really. If I was after one I'd want it all standard (wheels/bodywork etc) but lowered.....

You're not selling yours are you Sparkie?

potentially yes.
i need to look at the brakes and headlining and remove the PWR chargecooler.
i can't afford to run my daily (30mile round trip) and my missus's car and also classic.

Just my opinion, it would have to be as standard as possible, but lowered dinis look so nice slammed.

Do they fetch good money?

STD a little lowered imo

i think mine is probably too low at the mo - i'll have to raise it up a spline all round.

you can drop em on the deck....however you can't get the rear wheel off to change the tyre. and the exhaust is basically running down the sill of the n/s - so it scrapes alot - as does the gearchange mechanism :(

my decals were a bit of a guestimate from looking at the standard 'le car 2' pictures.

where else do you need to look?

Hi sparkie, engine bay picks from all angles and also rear seat if yours is single bench style. Just need to know if my mounts for seat are still correct or played with as last owner was going to fit gordini seats and I seem to have alot of mountings in a box lol. Thanks in advance

yes, the gordini rear seat mountings are different. the position of the bracket on the seat itself is a different position.- i made a gordini set fit my old TL - by unbolting the bracket, and having it attach to the seat by one bolt rather than two on the lower hole..- i then made an extender for the central mounting point.- it folded over kinda straight. lol!
