Has anyone got any basic prices for a rebuild? How hard would it be to doit myself? Mines not gone I was just thinking while its out might refresh it..
Theres an advert on ebay sure its £475 i mite be wrong
Why touch it if it aint broke :confused:

i wouldent bother paul there a pretty good strong gear box if it works leave it just get a 2nd hand one if it brakes there cheap enough.

Well there is a slight wine in third only very slight and were the linkage is near the cover off the rod there is a ball there and that's a bit sloppy.. Unless I can just buy that? I plan on giving it even more hammer this year and hopefully have a bit more power if I get this engine right..

I can get them rebuilt locally to me for a very good price, average £200-£250 depending on what's needed

Speaking of this gearbox i just remembered I bought it off a guy off here about a yr and half ago called big dave from Leicester I think.. It's been a great gerbox and only cost me £60 anyone know big dave?
