Brilliant idea, anyone from then onwards who look up these cars on there will see this is more than just a run of the mill car club with all these custom builds etc! :agree::cool:

Really good idea this top darts! :agree:

Steve I know this is something trivial but would it not be a good idea for the committee to view and agree the footage prior to going live?

If ROTC ( as an organisation) is putting its name on a public service then all footage should be checked and agreed?

off topic but
half of the committee members are now inactive if you look the last time they were on the boards, about time they were pushed back to regular members and let some of the new blood have a bash

I know where you're coming from Matt, but what consitutes an RTOC video and how can the club agree the footage?

If you look at half of my video's (http://www.youtube.com/user/BigSteveT?feature=mhee) on YouTube, they're mostly filmed at RTOC days and I've linked them up with RTOC plastered all over them. They're video's taken from the days and show the members having a laugh.

Take THIS ONE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwInUSYFw1Y&list=UU-P68GnhZzMxoxkKp3SOepw&index=39) for example, it's got feck all to do with Renault's but it was a night camping & was a giggle with fellow members?

Unless members start uploading indecent images, then i can't see the harm.

Its not another witch hunt Ian, it's a fair question asked by one of the long term members. If the members want to see some new blood, then so be it?

Ian S

That's happening as you know :agree:

But I was asking about who are the inactive ones that should be cleared out. :)

Nope, I'm having a nightmare trying to set up a 'channel'! Any help or advise would be great? Has anyone done this before? I can upload vids but we need to set up a account for RTOC, so when vids are uploaded, they come under the right name.

I see where you're coming from but realistically it just takes some common sense from whever uploads the videos, ie:

Don't upload porn on it!
Dont put any daft illegal street racing on
etc etc

p.s set up a seperate non RTOC channel for the porn and copy me in?

Someone, or a group of designated responsible someone's acting on the clubs behalf, have to make sure that common sense continues to be applied over the years. :) Make sure new material is uploaded and the facility is not left to wither over time.
