Is there a easy way to remove the front window screen on a 5 without destroying it :confused:

Do i need a cheese wire thingy??

(Or Can i just kick it out from the inside like they do in the movies !! :D )

wire would be best in my opinion.. it is achievable without destroying it all but be carefull.. :)

Wd40 and a long craft knife.
If you use cheeswire, grab an old number plate to protect the dash and remove the side trims of the a pillars.

the windscreen removal guys might remove and fit it at a later date on site for a small fee if u ask!

Its OUT !! :cool: And the removal tools were:

* A proper Stanley Knife

* My grandma's butter knife ( RIP ) :laugh:

Hha you did well. I asked a few local places when I saw them on a job at work if they wanted to take mine out for cash. Nobody was interested and wanted to charge silly money.

Borrowed some wire from work, and put wd40 round the seal, and just went carefully, and she was out

I agree with this, this is how i f***ed my dash...
