OMG!!:eek::eek: I was only talking about this programme the other day in a thread (http://www.rtoc.org/boards/showpost.php?p=308609&postcount=13) and thought it was lost forever, however I was cleaning my loft out today and found my old PC and it was on there?! Strange how these things happen sometimes eh?

I've uploaded it onto YOUTUBE (http://youtu.be/jvs0jcm4WNg) for all of you to have a look at. :niceone:

For those of you who haven't seen it before, it's a clip from Episode 2 of the ITV Programme Revved Up that Mike Brewer made about the car scene of the early 2000's (It was originally broadcast 2004/2005). Mike joined the RTOC at the National Day 2004. Some of the highlights are:

Mike Spence & his MSM Motorsport Car (Now owned by Cazerooadoo (http://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=24049)) running a 12.1 sec 1/4 mile
Sparkie (http://www.rtoc.org/boards/member.php?u=27) & his R5GTT running on the Thor hub bearing dyno revving to an incredible (for a C1J ) 8200rpm and producing 200bhp+ Now owned by 5279 (http://www.rtoc.org/boards/member.php?u=240)
Mike Brewher giving David Kirk's (K-Tec) brand new Megane 225 a thrash up the strip.
Mike asking to smell some guys fingers?! WTF?!:laugh::laugh:
Keep your eyes peeled for yourself if you were there! I've seen a few familiar faces including.... ;)

That engine was awesome on the road at over 8k. The t28 just kept on pulling with that cam.
It never liked starting 8 years later either
5279 got the car and not the engine, I got that.

I was there too, I was only 18 or 19. Mike Brewer is a ****ing idiot (I haven't come to that conclusion from the sole experience).

Anyone know who:

The girl who owned the Pink GTT was? That car's still owned by a members wife isn't it?
The guy was whose Clio dropped it's gut on the line?

No idea whom owned the pink 5 back then but I know Steve aka 5teveL on here's wife (Kelly) owned it for a few year's and they changed a few exterior bit's, I believe Steve bought it from Bob @ CGB and ti was Bob's wife's car. When Steve sold it I think he sold it back to Bob @ CGB and then I remember seeing it on ebay a few months later

I think that was the last time I took my 5GTT to the Pod.

Wow, 8 years, where did that go!

IIRC I got up to the front of the line of 42 5GTTs and lead as we quietly went through Olny as 30mph, then gave it the loud pedal all the way to Pod with Mike Spencer close behind me. Those were fun times.

That also must have been the day they made me club treasurer.

Have just replied to your PM Steve.... Thanks for putting the video up.

Was a great watch and I can finally stop hunting the internet for it! I did get my first 5 that year and was meant to be at that national day but didn't make it due to lack of funds.

I have also met Mike Brewer in the past and deffo agree he is a dick
