I remember them cars, one of the better features Max Power done
Love the way those cars look too, proper 90's how a 5 should look ;)

I saw the Blue phase 1 in that feature at the Chelsea cruise many years ago, good times! :)

I'd love to lie and say "I'm too young to remember all this"

Sadly I'm not and cars like these are what got me into the seat of a gt turbo at 17. Thank god taste has moved on since then :)

Wow, that was the magazine that got me to buy my first 5, i can remember sitting there drooling, i asked my gaffa, do you think i should get rid of my xr2i for one of these? he replied, they look like upside down shopping trolleys. Not the last time i have heard that to.

Agree with dave, azevs rocked and so to did the stealths, im sure they are 16s in the picture and if my memory serves

Some of you guys are on the same page as me. As soon as I saw the 3-spokes in the pics I knew I had to post up that they look great and might make a come back.

Those image rims look quite a lot like Fiesta RS Turbo alloys.

Wow, that brings back some memories - I had that mag too and saw a few of those 5's in the flesh, back in the day in Blackpool when I used to go to the car meets in my Nova :ashamed:. Don't see many other fives around the area now though.
I also had a big poster of the red one up on my bedroom wall when I was 15.
Its amazing how much times and magazines have changed.

Never, ever, liked 3 spokes! The only thing worse are some of the 2 spokes (yes 2) I've seen on Range Rover Sports. Rubbish!

Azev, Borbet A and the like. The simple rule of 5 spokes on a 5 is a (fairly) safe bet. ;)
