Well as i have a oil cooler on the way - i no longer need the standard one, My fmic pipe run is tight past the rad. So iv seen people move theres over. Im guesing you just drill some new holes in the subframe for it to sit in. And extend top rad hose and then il have more room for intercooler piping.

Question is, which rad is the same/similar to a gtt one but without the oil cooler, what is everyone running and recomend? Have heard clio diesel or campus maybe?

cheers

I have the large one with up rated fan out of Raj's old car sat in the unit in perfect working order. He used it with a large front mount, if you are interested I can get some pictures.

Thanks
Mike

Might aswell get some pics mike...

Im not replacing for better colling or anything, my oe one cools fine, just wondered if there was a similar rad that cools the same, exact same fittings, just without the oil cooler for neatness

cheers brigsy. How much wider is it out of interest, just roughly? And obviously all fittings for pipes, and temp switch the same, this might be way to go then

At a guess 3-4" wider than the o.e rad mate. Fits easily as the pipes are in the same place as the gtt rad, original fan fits too. Only mod required is extending the top rad hose.

32mm pipe off a Henry Hoover works a treat for top hose extension.
