water pump bolts [Archive]

hi,just spoke to renault regarding the 7 water pump bolts,apparently theres different mm sizes,does any one know what size i should order,,or where else they can be bought? cheers;)

i think they're jus m6 bolts of different length. if you can find a selection jus poke them through the holes in the water pump, if you can get about 10-15mm [may get more, measure depth of hole] of bolt to screw into head on each one she should be right

how much were they from reno then?
i got loads of stainless pump bolts at home

i bought some long ones and just stuck a screw driver in to measure the depth before chopping off the ends..

i needed nearly all of them as there was alot of snapping:( took great care to remove the bolt shafts from the head. it was the first job i ever did on my gtt and without a doubt the biggest pain in the ar5e due to me being unskilled with the spanners.. :cartman:

well renault said there a 5 bolts but cgb motorsport sell 7 for 3.99
renault want 1.50 a bolt :rolleyes:
