6th May: Fete Meet Again This Year

morning chaps i have been asked by the organisers of the fete we attended last year if we would like to display our cars again this year. It falls on the above date which is a bank holiday monday, i need to let them know by next monday if we want to do this again i think it went really well last year but i think we could do with getting more members there to show off there cars. anyone who wants an idea what this is like have a look at the thread and pics from june 2012 fete day. can i get a list on the go for people who would like to attend and who can make it please stick your name down as i only have a week and need to see how much interest there is for this before i say yes to them. It would be nice eh!! The car was registered In Kingston so will pop the original plates back on it. Probably seen the roads around that area at some point in its early life.

Hopefully next time I'm down to yours it'll be in the car

Right chaps I really need to email the fete comitee to let them know if we still want to have our cars on the field of the fete again this year it was a great success last year with the BBQ and drinks back at the Surrey meet after so please chaps put your name down so we can show interest I am hoping for 15 or more cars there this year to make it worth while and again ill do the BBQ :) last year we had 23 cars on there and I would like to achieve this again or more

2 speed with reverse and added extras like a basket and horn and twin arm rest. 1 lady owner and never raced or rallied. She's dead now so its mine.

Alright Phil, I'd like to go to this, but I'm just not sure if I'm going to get me car done by then, mainly money issues really, only 2 pay days for me before this fete day and lots of things to buy:rolleyes: umm credit card maybe for the turbo rebuild:cooter:. That is good news mate and would be great if you can make it and for everyone else who is coming we all need to be on the field by 12.15pm the latest other you can't get on for safety reasons the fete times are 1.30pm till 4.30pm then back to the Surrey meet for a BBQ :) remember to bring food with you all and ill try not to over cook it :D I will add an address very soon

Hi mate he can just turn up if he wants there is no real deadline or set numbers of cars aloud but no one can turn up any later than 12.15pm the latest as they have to think about safety reasons so if everyone can bare this in mind

Evening chaps so 3 days to go till the fete day, whose ready , the venue dosent actually have a post code but i have a postcode for a house within a few yards from the fete which is KT20 7DN. The entrance to the fete is opposite a road called rockery way and the entrance is up a path way fenced either side of it Please all remember to be there by the latest 12.15pm any later and you wont be able to drive on the field i will try and be there for about 11 onwards unless anyone needs to meet earlier any problems finding the venue please call phil on 07814 518 971. Remember BBQ food if you plan to come back to the Surrey meet venue after :agree:
