Looks about right fella, have you checked/cross referenced the part no. and spec of it? it should fit 1.4 cars from around '91 so chances are should be ok, worth checking out though :)

Good question, would need part no. for original 5 gt turbo alternator and one of the ebay item, anyone work at Renault could maybe help to check part numbers and spec, or take a lucky punt?! Can you get good secondhand alternator from a member on here? do motor factors still do new units? :)
