At a guess I would say only 10 people have an injection Manifold for the c1j.... If they come up for sale there normally up individually, not part of a job lot....

Michael Tierney makes manifolds for people so worth PM'ing him....

There is a romour going around that there is a Renault Manilfold available for around £50... (Absolute Bargin) but nobody has yet released the Part details....

There's a reason why many haven't done it....

Although there is enough info on here, it's do able, cost are coming down...

That's the one Sparkie, I got one last year for £8 to see if it would fit and it does. It's about and 2 hours work with a saw and file, it will fit in the engine bay......... Just tight on the servo.

I have taken pictures of the manifold as I altered them. I will be using it on my 5 and believe will be able to do my full conversion for under £450 including the ecu (Megasquirt) with me doing all work.

It just at the bottom of my list of things to do just now. I will try and get a thread together to show what other efi parts can be used to keep costs down.

Cheers
Chris

my missus has got a 1.4 8v fabia, and i've changed the headgasket on a few - easiest HG to do - pushrods, no turbo, no siezed bolts etc etc . there are a few scrap places round here that sell bits for em. :)

You can also use the same manifold from the skoda felicia, it's best to use the fuel rail from the felicia as the FPR is built into it where as the fabia must be in the tank...... So it's one less thing to buy. :D

What size is the throttle plate on the 172?

ill mesure it up tomorrow takes about 10 mins to get it to fit. you have to enlarge one of the holes and file back some of the metal so the butterfly dose not foul on it. ill get a few pics and send them to you.

Megane 2.0 n/a also fits. I think they are the same as a 172 anyhow.:D

You need to watch the size you go for!

Emmas car has a 50mm throttle body and I find anything over 1/2 to 2/3 throttle and and it makes no difference to throttle response. I am going to use a 45mm one this time.
