Hi guys

and happy new year.....

i need a new exhaust system for my campus but am struggling, does an older clio system fit the 5 at all? ive got a gt system which i tried out, but the pipe just after the lambda sensor is fatter than the campus pipe and bangs the subframe or steering rack, not sure what it is im no mechanic at all (as you can now tell haha)

bit of a ball ache really, if i owned a welder i could just weld the bit i need from the campus exhaust on the gt system and bobs your uncle, but i dont. any suggestions etc would be a great help

A moter factors is a general term used for a place that sells parts for cars. I tell you what pm me ur reg and i will get the parts lads at work to see if they can get you an exhaust system and with some discount if you want

The clio mk 1 should fit the std system on the 5,i put a back box that fixed onto the 5 from the clio mk 1.its the same diamiater I THINK its not far off anyway.just go to a scrappy and have a look if you can,if not try the ebay.....

I thought the kink in the back box pipe on a Clio was too different to fit an R5 properly?

I was sold an early Clio stainless backbox years ago (not by an RTOCer), and was told it would fit a GTT 'no worries'. What a crock of sh*t. I had a nightmare with it. :disagree:
