Just noticed this ad on ebay, says restored for a tv programme?

thats no bare metal repaint :S.. you can see in the pics its a typical, block sand and fill the dents.

the paintworks terrible, miss match left right and centre, the seat bolsters are shagged, sill repair looks good from what i can see though.

I don't think it is a wheeler dealer car though because Ed China's workshop is around Surrey. I used to see him now and again driving his bed and other weird inventions lol.

Paint work is properly shocking, look at the gun lines in the roof. I would love to see what it looked like on a petrol station four court at night.

If you look at the other pics in the advert you can see that the pictures that everybody is slating are the car BEFORE its respray.
The pics of the paintwork where the car is stil masked up after being sprayed look good imo. From what i can make out anyway.
Not a clear advert tho and to ask 4k for a car and not actually show the finished product is a bit poor :dearme:

Their work shop is in Bracknell right by my work and I haven't spotted a 5 around the unit. Doubt it's a car they have touched.

Don't think Brewer was that impressed with them when they filmed nat day a few years back so unlikely they will ever touch one!

...was a picture of the finished article, but it can't be given the mismatch between the wing & bonnet?!

However, if that is the end result, then the seller is having a steffi if they think that's worth 4 large.

I think Ed China is a legend. But Mike Brewer annoys me something rotten!!

I am surprised they haven't tackled a 5, considering they done the pug 205 gti and the mk1 golf.

Roof looks like someones been playing "etch a sketch on it" that surely isn`t the end result none original parcel shelf,duff drivers seat OE mats though which I can`t find for love nor money.Your`e right there Topcat Ed is good to watch but Brewer is a bit of a mincer..
