does anybody know if wastegates are renound for leaking between the bore and the valve, im asking as my tial mvs is as new, but when i pressure tested the wastegate with foot pump and boost gauge hooked up, anymore than 4-5 psi, then it leaks past the stem of the valve, had it apart 10 times and gone over all the seals and diaphram, no splits or defects anywhere, its concerning me somewhat, that it leaks so much:(

i would have thought that tial quality would be better than this, thoughts anyone:scratch:

would rather sort it now, rather than wait for it to show itself on the rollers, wasting precious time etc

Are you piping up both sides of it?

no, pressure tested both sides on there own, as a leak down test:(

top port is all good, and holds 25psi + no leaks
bottom side does as above?

have i made a silly mistake?:ashamed:
