Thought I'd post on here as the calendar doesn't seem to show any 2013 stuff yet, mods please shift it if necessary :).

It's time to start looking forward to the 2013 trackday season and as usual we will be opening it up with our club day at Oulton Park.

Friday March 1st is the date and we've held the same price as 2012 so it's £130 for open pitlane on the full International Circuit. If you book using the code RTOC in the comments box you will also be entered into our draw for free places, one in every five that books with this code will get their money back!

We will be sticking with the usual numbers which should mean no queuing (red flags permitting!) and free tuition will be available from our team of ARDS instructors.

We get a pretty good following on here and some of you will also know me from the RTOC ND but for any of you that haven't been on our days before, we run just two or three trackdays a year working with other clubs and forums and the emphasis is a friendly day with plenty of track time (many thanks to the mods on here for allowing us to post our days up, we couldn't do it without your help :cool:).

Suitable for novices, regular track monkeys and everyone in-between, these days usually fill well in advance so early booking is recommended, once it's full, it's full!

Next question:

If I book and show up with two cars, ie, Fuego and ClioSport, does my payment of £130 cover me in either car or would you count that as cheating? (After all I can only drive one at a time lol)

The reason I ask is the Fuego has been out of action for a few years and its first outing in anger may turn up some bits I have missed or something that isnt quite right. If so, i'd have wasted £130 so would like to have a backup (and the D5 isn't exactly a track car lol) :agree:

We wouldn't want you swapping frequently between the two cars but if you kill one and want to use the other for the remainder of the day that's no problem.

Not yet, I really want to but am having real troubles getting a rad to fit the Fuego without breaking the bank. As soon as I have cooling system and brakes I will, assuming its in time!

20th feb is my birthday and there happens to be a nice cheap one on the 17th......... ill see if i can deffinetly do it then start another thread, i dont want to spoil this one for Steve.(i would of come to oulton if it wasnt on the 1st )

Not quite finished the car to run it for a track day,sadly....hampered by bad weather and loss of storage spaces. Have to be next time! :cry:
