Cool Dogs, I have a Labrador, who's a bit nuts, But since he had the chop has calmed down a bit:devil: Honestly couldn't of asked for a better natured dog tbh, although he has turned into a bit of a pansy, taking him for 2 walks a day takes up a lot of your time, but its good to get away from the stresses, and just chill with your dog!

Ellie wasn't from a breeder as such but a family in North London who had decided to let their Bitch have one litter. If you ever get one have a good look around, blue's are few and far between so people take the mick on price and see them as money or business, rather than a dog. Make sure you see them in there home environment, Ellie was bought up around a baby and 2 kids under 10, she's a big softie.

ive been toying with the idea of getting a dog again ,always said i would get another staffie but im now thinking maybe some sort of lurcher preferably a whippet cross bedlington terrier maybe with some bull through it , ive been out lamping with my m8 alot and hes got a deerhound cross lurcher and a staffie cross , you owt to see this dog catch rabbits :worship: they can be great dogs lurchers very placid and not so inyour face all the time like the excitable staffies . anyway im going to have a search for those pics of my staffie and rabbit .

also regarding pedigrees etc, im not that keen on pure breeds as much these days as i beleive if it wasnt for us humans there wouldnt actually be any breed of dogs full stop! they'd all be mongrels which if i am mistaken are lot healthier than todays "breeds".

pup's are so much fun mate,you really bond with them when they're young & see more of the personality,i got my pup at only 6 weeks! she was going on paper within a few days! (they learn quick for treats :)) by 11-12 weeks she would scratch at the door to be let out.
this is a dog that is half akita! they're not easy to train normally

Tell me about it! ive got 2 bullys. They are 9 and 10 months old and the youngest one is already over 8 stone! she is a bloody lump. Superb dogs tho and would recommend them to anyone.
Also have an African grey and a Blue and Gold Macaw but wouldnt advise these so freely!!!! The macaw is very noisey to say the least:cry:

MikeA: Yeah i bought him from a breeder when he was 2 months old and around 6 INCHES! long haha,a lot of ppl dont realise how big Iguanas get after a couple years (they double in size over the first 2 years and a healthy 1 should be about 2 to 2 and a half foot long @2 years old).In captivity the average lifespan is around 10-12 years so he's doing well at 14!..........Once adult they are mainly vegetarian but still like the odd "meat treat" which would be a fresh week old baby chick,locusts or baby mice but that should only be about once or twice a week,just fruit and veg the rest of the time................they dont mind being handled although scratches are inevitable due to thier claws being like needles at the tip (for tree climbing).Thier behaviour...well they dont do much except bask under thier heat source,eat lots and climb around and there never going to fetch the paper or roll on thier back and play dead haha but i like them,ever since i was a kid i was fascinated by dinosours and this is the closest thing i could get other than a crocdile which are slightly illegal and a real ******* handfull or i'd have 1 of those too.:cool:

Ive got a 13 month old Bullmastiff and she is at 7.5 stone at the minute and growing! Ive got a 6 year old Blue and Gold macaw and a (supposedly) 20 year old African grey. The Grey like to wolf whistle the dog! while the Macaw will call her in from the garden and tell her to GET OUT once she arrives! and she does!

I had a Cairn Terrier and it broke me up that bad when she died I swore I'd never put myself in that situation again......and I haven't.
But Dogs are great friends....

i done that for my little cousin, cost me 30 quid for her to adopt one at xmas...dont know if she has it all set up yet. good idea though i think! :agree:

my boys a hybrid he's got a nice big chest and head but his back end is slim he's really agile for a big dog he shocks alot of people he can vault our gate and fence no probs hope she is pregnant mate you will have to keep me updated i would love to see some pics of the pups you never know i might be tempted myself
