can Acc pump arm be the cause of rich wot?

Hi all,
I'm getting my standard carb soon but wanted to try and set this grp a up as a reserve.
Idles around 13.6-14.4
Problem is, the AFR is showing rich 10's at wot

I have just stripped and cleaned the carb replaced Idle jets and gaskets but still same problem.
There is a thread mentioning a 5mm drill bit but cant really work out if its related to this.

*Question*
Does the Acc pump arm (the hinged arm that moves the diaphragm in/out) need to be fully in or out?

Group A carbs mustly run rich.... What turbo you got and what boost you running?

The acc jet does little at wot mate, get rid of that grp a body
