Why not have the link to the classifieds (as its part of the forum structure) in the main forum as a category, instead of just at the top of the screen.

We could, no harm in it I suppose but we wanted to keep things clean and simple, and like the old site. Classifieds isn't really a forum, or isn't intended as one anyway, we didn't want it cluttering up the forum view.

It was only because Im used to seeing this style of forum on other car sites with the classifieds at the bottom. Tis all:)

Think i agree, to a degree. Took me a while to work out there actually WAS a classifieds section. Lol.

Did the big box at the right hand side of the home page with "classifieds" in it, and the classifieds link in the blue bar not give it away ? :D

did wonder where it was but like it with it's own section, look at cliosport, millions of forums and sub forums, ghey!! Keep it simple or we might end up with a big brother forum like them.

The only reason I mentioned it was because I saw a classified post come up in the live window, and saw people commenting, so it obviously looked like part of the forum but when I went to look at the index I couldnt find it and was like :confused:

I see. That makes sense.

The forum is only one part of this RTOC site. Many other sites have ONLY their forum.

The old site was a collecting of different features one of which was the boards. A nice part was that all sections were interlinked.

At the moment this new sites separate sections have not all been written so we're making do a bit.
