Hi i was just wondering if anyone knows wat the paint code is for the tungsten grey please thanks

You'll need to get the info of your chassis plate (the one that's fixed to the bulkhead) the oval..
Then ring Renault and they should be able to tell you.. This will also ensure you get the right shade of tungy.

Rite i gave renault all the numbers off my oval plate under my bonnet and apparently tungy is 608 and thats it there are no varations do you think this is true?

There were 4 shades last time I got some, light and darker and 2 greener

Renault man wont know to much..... Its down to the paint supplier/bodyshop who does the work.....

What is my best option then because the lad is guna order my paint in ready i know its not to important because the hole car is being done but i like the shade of the car now i took the filler cap to be matched today and the lad said its 608 i dont get it

Make sure the lad knows what he is doing...

Every paint supplier will have different shades of paint... I would order in the paint and then get a test panel painted to make sure ur happy with it...

Ideal cheers penfold they are the best painters in our area so i could be worrying about nothing

Most bodyshops will use shade 1 in the schemes, for a full hit or a repair blow in. If you've removed the flap then there shouldn't be an issue with colour matching. Think your getting confused, all shades start with 608 followed by the variant from the paint manufacturer, for example 608 c292
