Hi Guys,
Well Time has come for me to sell my magazine featured renault 5 GTT. This car was bought off the main man & legend mike @ GT turbo spares. Im selling as I have decided to purchase another house & cant really justify the additional cost of owning the 5.
History on the car:
Fastest quarter mile car @ santa Pod 2005
Magazine featured ( think mike still has a cope of this )
Exterior & Engine
When bought in Feb 2011 the car had just gone through a total engine rebuild ( by Mike) to be more road safe however still pushes 130 bhp on 10psi & 178 torque, car is currently only running a KT180 turbo, Huge front mounted intercooler, fishhead racing carb & side exit exhaust. Paint work is a custom "one off" Ford ST orange with glitter flick - Body work is in great condition & I'm sure if you ask the members who have seen it would agree.
Interior:
Fully stripped with 2 x Corbra bucket seats & 3 point harness.
Taxed till End of February 2013
No MOT - havent used it for the past 3 months, wasn't going to MOT until the new year.
£2750.00 ono & no part exchanges
(no silly offers please)

Haven't got around to putting the 5 up on Ebay yet- however aiming to do this before the end of the week- would prefer to keep it in the club though :(
Open to decent offers as i need the car gone, car is taxed till the end of the month, does require MOT.
The car is in great condition as I'm sure Tony Walker & Alex + anyone who has seen it, not sure on the completely full spec ( as the engine was rebuilt by Mike GT turbo spares). The car itself runs perfect .. with no smoke at all. Anyone wanting a good track car or fun car to drive you wont be disappointed.
Standard head

Fishheads- Racing carb
recently refurbed-Team dynamic Alloys & decent tyres
KT180 turbo
Spax Adjustables
2 x Corbra bucket seats ( drivers side has a slight small tear )
Race harnesses
Completely stripped
No rust at all ( couple of small paint dinks )
Custom Paint job
Ktech side exit exhaust

For anyone interested in this car I can confirm it is a very solid example and goes well both on track and on the road.
For the sake of say £50 Gibster I'd defo stick an MOT on it mate - it'll help no end with the sale :agree:

here ya go was ran at the big rtoc dyno day i sorted back in 2011, cracking torque output

They came with 120 as standard didn't they? That's alot of extra boost - to only gain 20 odd bhp I would have thought

Sorry been away with work for the last couple of weeks... car is still for sale :) if im honest i was hoping nobody would be interested & keep it :(

Questions answered:
did you get the car mot'd mate? Where abouts are you?- Not currently MOT'ed but not an issue as Tony Walker is my mechanic ( top work & and a top bloke ) im in the wirral ( near liverpool)
Have you got any more pics? No further pictures however can get to the lock up this weekend if thats any help.. Has the interior and bay been painted black or is that the original colour /paint ? Car has been fully sprayed inside & out :)-
Should you require any further information on the car go onto phase i 16 v turbo's facebook n page & the full engine rebuild is all there .

so annoying when you run around like a mad man getting the car MOT'ed and fully detailed and then the buyer lets you down last minute..... the joys of selling cars !!!!!!!:mad::mad:

Right guys I have just bought a new house and need the car gone by the end if the week, if not it will be broken/stripped which would be a complete shame.
£2000.00 ovno... Genuine buyers will need to pick it up before the end of the week.
This car is a complete steal at this price.
