My on opinion is vents are just a place that leaks water into the engine bay.. Scoobies it's for a reason 5s there is no reason to have one.. Withe the lights some hate them some like them you do what you thinks best bud.. I was going to have loovers but only for the summer.. Instead I went with carbon jut for looks but again it's not everyone's taste but I like it :)

i ve said before and i'll say again, morretes are pi55 poor quality, if you buy 2nd hand there 100% sure to be falling apart with rusty lenses.. the quality of the plastic there made with is the same as the tray you get with chocolate fingers..:disagree:

the 16v vent is a personal thing, but the lights are pure aids..

I have spoken with the Morette uk rep and even enquirer on the Morette IT website who put me in direct contact with same person. These are still available even spares but at around £300 a set a bit pricey.

The main problem with morette headlamps is the dipped beam is ****e, even worse visability at night than the original lights. Its like having a pair of tealight candles in your headlamps.

I did drive a gtt with hid's fitted to morretts and they were ok, but they dazzled everybody else on the road lol.

That rules them out then i cant stand it when you drive a car with really poor headlights

I think a carbon wrap would look better than vents.

But IMO I reckon you should keep her standard

i have morrettes that took some fiddling with,to get them sitting right with a HID kit i took them apart and modified the housings with small washers on the springs then used stainless washers when i fitted the main lights on top to get them pointing down more...easy....

Yes sorry i meant hid's fitted to morettes. They lit up the road alright, and the path, the other side of the road, the bushes etc:D

I paid for a brand-new pair of morrettes because I thought they looked cool especially with air ducts so I paid their extortionate price. When they arrived I was very dissapointed in their quality. Very cheap thin plastic and fittings hard to justify there £300+ price tag. I sold them without fitting them. :dearme:
