Renault 11 Turbo 1987
2 former keepers, 1 being renault and the 2nd an elderly man who gave up his license
91393 Miles

This car was purchased in a totally standard condition and was to be a project to stop me getting bored during my time at home between working overseas.
Due to the lack of time, other projects and family commitment I have decided to put it up for sale
As to date the car has driving about 150 miles since being completed and could do with a rolling road setup once fully run in.
This is a very enjoyable car to drive with excellent handling and very good acceleration
The specification is as follows.
Body
Shell stripped down and all rotten panels cut out and replaced with genuine Renault parts
New front inner wings and bonnet fitted 2003
Wide arch rally kit fitted and blended in, Painted in Ultramarine Blue. I originally had the car painted yellow after seeing a similar car in France where I had the body kit moulded. Once I got the call to collect the car I realised I had made a big mistake and asked if he could change the colour to match the kit as this would jot be a sore on the eyes. To be honest I don't think he re-prepped the car! 2003
A New green tint windscreen was fitted after the original was cracked taking out for paint.

Chassis
Reconditioned rear beam. Renault 19 16v rear beam included to increase rear tracking
New rear brake disks and OMP pads
New brake lines all round
OMP competition 6 point roll cage
New track rod ends and ball joints
Brand new Bilstein suspension and Koni 30mm Lowering springs
Standard wheels as allows in photo was buckled in a pot hole many years ago
Grayston spacer kit

Engine
Engine fully re-built, this included a chemical clean of the engine block and head before work started.
Crankshaft re-ground, lightened and balanced
Fly wheel lightened and balanced to crank
All new bearing, seals, gaskets, rings timing chain and tensioner
Grp A head gasket set fitted.
Piper BP300 race spec cam and Pulley
BB performance high lift valve springs
Magnecor 8.5mm leads
Grp A carb
Polished and ported cylinder head along with inlet manifold to match
Cosworth T3 Hybrid turbo
13 row Oil cooler
Focus RS charge cooler set up
Scorpion SS exhaust system
New starter motor

The Carla's been garaged for the last 7 years and neglected but did spend 1 winter outside during my house conversion which I don't think done the car any good.

The roof skin had a few bubble appear around the sun roof which I rubbed down to see how bad and the had these primed. I also sourced a good condition second hand non sunroof roof skin to replace it with.

My plan was to have the shell stripped, roof skin replaced anddrivers jacking point repaired over the winter but due to me currently having an escort cosworth full bare shell restoration carried out and my raider build progressing time will not allow this to be carried out.

This would be a great little car with not a lot of money spent on it.

I drained the stale fuel and re-built the carb about 8 months ago and it fired up, all be it a little lumpy but can't remember if it sounded like this before due to the camshaft.

I'm not sure what this would be worth and am open to offers. May also brak if enough interest and remove kit.

I also have Lots of other renault gt turbo spares available including engine, gearbox, reground crank, standard turbo in good condition. Renault 5 gt scorpion exhaust system etc along with some trim.

I have 2 scorpion systems, think one is the original large embossed back box which is a slightly larger bore with a 3" tail pipe I think.
I'm away with my Son karting today but can have a look when I get back this evening

Central scotland. And if I said £1800 what would people think of that price?
I know that it cost way more than that to build. Would also throw in a spare engine and gearbox that is in good clean condition and only needing a new head gasket fitted as I split it to inspect when i had my current raider engine built

Anybody want to make an offer on this? I'm home on Friday and need to move this on during January. No room now as I'm due to get both my other projects back from painters to start assembly so no time or space.

If not it will go on eBay.
