Well my R19 valver wheels for my Raider project just got finished at the powder-coater today..

Here is what they look like:

I can't wait to get tyres on them, (R888's) but im s**tting my self in fear of scratching them.. :ashamed:

So, what do you guys think? :)

After I had my wheels powder coated I also had a mates set done and his got scratched/chipped when the tyres were fitted! :crap: luckly for me he went first sp the tyre fitter was uber carefull with mine he even used a towel on the face of the rim to stop it scratching, a decent tyre fitter should do it no probs, just make sure you specifically ask them to ne carefull;) otherwise:dearme::mad:

exactly.. :scared: Just hard to explain in the emergency room why you have beaten yourself up with a baseball bat.. ;)

Best to clamp the wheel on the outside of the rim not the inside, shouldnt really scratch the wheel fitting tyres, more likely to scratch taking them off, maybe give your arm a tiny bit more room than normal, and use your 3rd arm if you have one.

Yeah that was also the plan.. Those R888 are just a bit tight to get on! :D Which reminds me i have to order two new tyres lol! :D hope 195/50 R15 is gunna be ok under the lil' beast..

Those wheels look really nice mate, can I ask where your getting your tyres from?
