Camera Advice?

Need to get the missus a new camera for xmas. Is anyone into cameras on here that can recommend a good unit for about £150?

It can do some pretty cool tricks, like getting an app on your phone to use as a viewfinder and take pictures.
Best part... it's been discontinued and the lady in the shop said she can knock off however much she wanted.
I paid £60 for it with an 8GB card, swish case and 3 year warranty :)
