11 turbo shock absorbers phase 1

Are all the shocks on an 11 turbo the same as a normal 11? also with the rears some specify 2 torsion bars, or 4 torsion bars :confused:

Just had a look on our system and they do say that they are the same through the range of renault 11 as well as the 9. Not sure on the 2 or 4 but the system says that as well and cant tell what other differences there are apart from it just saying that.

My guess is the difference in rear axle is the same as gtt and campus. Where campus only had a single beam with 2 torsion bars and gtt has 4

Ok, well maybe on front just the springs are different. Bought some front monroe shocks very good price, looking at good deal on the rears but they are listed for the turbo C375 in the chassis no. so hoping they will be ok as car is 26 years old with the originals on which are rather past their best.

In the haynes, the 4 bar rear beams have 2 torsion bars with the other 2 bars being anti roll bars.

Front shocks on their way, now going to buy the pair of rears

Its still on the originals at mo, tired but ok for MOT so gonna see what these new rears are like as suspension does need sorting really
