Can anyone please advise me on what turbo will be best for my F7r turbo conversion.

My budget £400, looking for 200-250bhp to start with but even with engine mods in the future I won't be going more than 300bhp.

I was meant to get a 200sx T28 from my mate but he's decided to keep it as a spare incase his "GT28RS" fails lol

what size and degree or compressor is better or works best? and can anyone explain them please :)

I will possibly buy a good second hand one :agree:

thanks

Just get for the pulsar unit it has the larger .86 rear, the 200sx .64 rear is fine but will prob not be much good for over 250+ looses power sort of top end, the .86 rear should give a little more top.

The 200sx t28 on the f7p is like a t2 on a c1j is the only way I can describe it spools quick but looses grunt top end high gears:agree:

If you have the cash get a gt28rs

Theres no way i can afford a GT28rs within 6 months plus getting the rest of my engine done unfortunately although I would like one :)

i'll have a look at these pulsar turbos or what about a scooby turbo?

Are there any other cars that have a good standard turbo I can have a look for on Ebay?

Whats the benefit or the larger rear spools up quicker?

I've got a pulsar Turbo.... not 100 percent sure what condition,.can check if you are interested. I was going to do same conversion as you but started selling bits off when lost interest. Pm me if you want.

Larger rear spools slower but has more topend.
On a pulsar .86 rear your spool will be great anyway!

My last setup was a t28 on 9,2:1 f7r. Full 10psi at around 2500tpm but felth there wasn't much left above 6000tpm. Guesstimate of 250bhp
