Taking the downpipe off and had to get the car up on ramps,
Noticed an oil leak from the Sump & Rad.
Oil level hasnt dropped in 2 months but its obviously leaking..
What could i check or do to resolve this?
Thanks
Stu

Personally i hate cork sump gasket's feckers always leak, nothing wrong with a good bead of decent sealant around the sump I would even go over the U parts of the sump with sealant and still use the u gasket's aswell. Remember to clear of the old sealant fully first of both block and sump.

Thanks Jtec,
May aswell do it whilst its up on the ramps and downpipe is off for welding..
Also noticed a sheared nut :crap:
Can you recommend a Sealant? I did get some silicon sealant but it was for the windscreen and don't suppose i can use that..

 No you can't use windscreen sealant:laugh:

I tend to use Loctite i think it's 5910 anyway it's black sealant, Halfords sell it they also do a sealant in can which is pretty good aswell a little more expensive though :agree: As you say worth doing whilst your under the car
