Anyone into exercise? Just back from gym did 5k today 3k yesterday.

Great south run was polished off in 1 hour 34mins. With no training :sad2:

Goodstuff, bit of exercise always makes you feel better, hit gym 2-3 times a week and play 5-aside footy too, better than watching crappy old soaps on the tv ;)

I don't do much cardio, I like the weights. Rah! :D

I run a mile before work a few times a week. 15/20k on the exercise bike after work and ride BMX.

Nothing major but I want to be healthier :)

So some exercisers :) I taught spinning this morning 6.45 then back to teach pilates later and prob a run tonight.

Eases my frustrations with no further progress on the car. :(

I like to get a couple of 10k runs in a week and forces fit on a Wednesday.:agree: In training for the Silverstone half marathon and the rat race.:)

4 day split on the weights for me, just started doing some low intensity cardio on off days.

I lift about .6kg once a week normally. Do lots of repetitions which I hear is good, find that it gradually lightens after a while and then find another .6kg to start again.

Used to swim about 15 miles a week for about 12 years, but now just walk a lot, and work on cars and house which seems to keep me reasonable shape.

I do about 1 hour cardio one a Monday, Tuesday and thursday night at the gym I box on a Wednesday night for about 1.5hours and run about 1/2 a mile 2 mornings a week, lost 2 stone 3 pounds in the last year and a bit only about another 4 stone to go, but ive only been doing the running and boxing about 4 months b4 that I was just at the gym

I get smashed and ragged in PT four times a week , I hate it... But feel good afterwards! :confused:

Just had a power point lesson on thee old protein shakes, can't believe how many of them are "placebo's" .

You know gsk own maxi muscle..... Drug companies rule the world.... :cry: gyms are a perfect business for "healthy" products.... So can you buy fruit and veg at your gym.... :scratch: why not... they're meant to help you with healthy choices.....
