Gear knob removal from R5 phase 2

Hi how do you remove the lift for reverse gear knob off the R5?

Can anyone give me some advice, as I don't want to damage it.

The gearknob just pulls off. The reverse collar stays on the gearstick so don't pull that part.

That is of course if it's a standard gearknob. If it's an after market one there may be a small grub screw holding it on.

The original ones were glued on so can be difficult to remove
