nah mate, haven't put any time into tbh, just the occasional abuse from time to time, have to fix some bits and niggles though which i'll probably do this winter as it's of the road than anyway :agree:

suspension and brakes need some tlc/adjustment too but tbh i don't have the motivation to do anything with it. been spending some time on the 5 lately as it's sat in the garage for about 4 years now:sad2:

Mate I think your car is great, and your engine install is very neat. I love the attention to detail. Inspiring when I'm building my own F7PT.

However, I'm sure it's been said before - The 'rat look' thing is.... I just don't get it. Fix the rust on the wing, you'll have a minter. Sorry dude, just my opinion. No offence intended. I just really like your car and think it suffers with the visable rot :agree:

Lol, let's put it this way: i bought the car for €400 and the only intention i had with it was put a f7r in it and have fun.

However it has grown to much more than that. However if i get new wings i should respray the whole car.. Which obviously exceeds it's goal!

And yes, you're probably the 1000th one to say i have to fix the wings

1002. FIX THE WINGS :wasntme:

I bought my 9 Turbo in 2002 for £250. It's been stored since 2005-ish now, awaiting a restoration. I can't decide whether to keep the C1J or whether to F4R-Turbo it or similar.

Easy choice imo :D

Wings.

Even if you just plated over the patches and sprayed them with a rattle can, or did some kind of cover up or bodge job, it would make a big difference.

Or make the rest of the car the same :D

Not so easy...there's only 4 or 5 left in the UK, as a case for keeping it original(ish).

Also I don't need it to be REALLY fast, I have the 172 for fast, 21Q for very fast and the Fuego if I want to go back in time fast.

I think the preferred choice right now might be the original lump, some nice wheels and slam it in the weeds on airbags :)

Always things to think about!
