does a blowing exhaust affect a turbo car

Just wondering if a blowing exhaust has any real effect on a turbo car ?..

Reason i ask is my downpipe has split on my s14a.. after the lamda sensor

atfer the sensor shouldnt do, depends how close it is to the sensor, if it does make any difference itll only richen it up at while driving normally not at WOT
