Gordini le car 2 turbo

Well here goes, just put a deposit on a Gordini, completey rust free, freshly painted with subtle changes made to the looks. Comes with all parts in boxes and only few items that require sourcing or fabricating, front rear door cards, roof lining, original front fogs. Also require a steering wheel.

Be picking car up Sunday, got boxes and boxes of parts to refit. Will need some pictures from others to figure out what goes where on the interior and engine bay. Think I be calling on sparkie for some details.

if its a gordini / le car 2 turbo, it'll have vinyl front door cards and plastic moulded rears.

original fogs are the same as gt turbo ph1's

steering wheels are easy to get.

roof lining is as rare as.-good luck with getting a mint one, and getting it to keep in place as they all sag. mine is screwed too :( almost better making one if you can.

Hi sparkie, needs some pics of the door cards, going to have make some I think. Rear plastic trims had gone brittle, were binned and I'll have to make something to replace them. Fogs I've got some faded units for now. Steering wheel I'm guessing has the three circle design spokes. Roof lining again might to fabricate hard board and cloth.

Funny that your the fourth person to ask about the phase 1 tonight lol. Not sure yet if selling, if I can manage to keep her I will be, raider first priority this winter and sell unwanted items.

btw, they should not have speaker holes cut into them. - the only speaker locations available are one at the front centre (in the centre console) and two in the rear door cards....

Stereo is a low priority, those fortunate having no rear panel I could install dome there until relevant trims are found. Those I think I be getting back my late eighties ghetto blaster and tapes out.

You let me know bud an I will flog mine and raid the piggy bank :) Iv had two phase 2 5s now never had a phase 1 :) or I could really piss the mrs off and track the phase 2 and show the phase 1... That will keep her on her toes lol

looks really good mate. although a little lowering is required.... 1 notch all round until you can see if you get any tuck under the rear arches. - this is about 2 splines all round. i did do 3 notches which looked awesome, but the front of the gearlinkage hits everything as does the exhaust- and you cant get the rear wheels off if you have a flat....

Totally agree sparkie, those must refit shocks first and see where it sits. Plus no interior fitted yet.

Yep that would be great sparkie, seen yours and wondered if they'd be available. Got a dilemma those, guy who restored car has replaced boot badges with the rarer alpine ones, not sure if to leave on or replace.
Your also going to tell me he's removed rear air vents to lol

Also I have 2retro stereos in my lock up I think.if you still have this in the spring we will have to have a photoshoot;)

Hi rew, not to sure what I've got regarding spares until I go through all the boxes of bits. Hoping I've got a full car first lol. Cleared all retro eighties stereos out last year, so will be looking some time next year. Probably be spring time when I get mot on it too.
