Opinions please?
Looks to be perfect for the gt turbo.

they say "no water = no over heating and more bhp" which im unsure how ?

it would help stop corrosion though imo , though i allways choose a coolant with anti corosion

You've been watching Wheeler Dealers haven't you! :D

i'd agree with Brigsy, but your also looking at the wrong type there you'd want the vintage one as its for use with cast iron blocks, plus its purple

is it actually any better from a boiling point of view, or just a gimmic?

On wheeler dealer I think it said it doesn't freeze until minus 40 and doesnt boil until 160.

Steve, I think that's what it comes down to. You won't know unless you give it a go!

I am tempted too once my rebuild proves it's watertight :)

Apparently it never needs changing and it doesn't build up pressure in your water system

After seeing this thread,I thought I would mention it on the s2000 forum.and some bloke reckons it would cost near on £200 for the s2000:eek:
That's including there flush(which is recommended)

Its avaliable via ebay.

£39.95 + postage for the prep fluid.
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=190640106078

£63.95 + postage for the "classic" version.
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=190640110096

So for around £130 delivered, thats the last time your car will ever need new coolant.

If you never have to touch it again once its in, its a very tempting option when it comes to my next coolant change :agree:

Bit of info.....i should be on commission ;)

A waterless engine coolant specially formulated for classic vehicles. Classic Cool 180º protects engine cooling systems from -40ºC to 180ºC. The unique properties prevent many of the problems associated with waterbased coolants such as Corrosion and Overheating.

Benefits

No Water - No Overheating
Vintage Cool 180° has a boiling point of 180°C and will not boilover.

No Water - No Corrosion
Water contains oxygen, oxygen allows corrosion. Vintage Cool 180° eliminates corrosion.

No Water - No Pressure
Power Cool 180° allows your cooling system to run at a lower pressure, reducing the strain on engine components.

No Water - No Liner Pitting
Power Cool 180° generates significantly less pitting when compared with all water based coolants.

No Water - More BHP
Power Cool 180° eliminates premature detonation associated with overheating.

- the liquid won't boil, but I don't know how my C1J would fair running @ 130 Deg C

No Water - No Corrosion
Water contains oxygen, oxygen allows corrosion. Vintage Cool 180° eliminates corrosion.

Plauseable

Really - it doesn't expand from -40 to 180 degs?

No Water - No Liner Pitting

Plauseable

I'd have to wait 10 years to see if that's true and strip my engine down

No Water - More BHP

How?

Power Cool 180° eliminates premature detonation associated with overheating.

Only if it runs significantly cooler than water - ie 30deg C which aint good for an engine designed to run @ 90 Deg C

How much water does the standard cooling system take, I normally chuck a hose on it...

Makes blowing a head gasket even more expensive to fix;)
