Hi all,
Just a quickie and wondered if you knew of something i could use/do?

Although it isn't a major problem, i want to nip it in the bud.

The drivers side window struggles to make it to the top, it does go but im worried the mechanism will buckle. My passenger window seems ok but still a bit sluggish.

I noticed some moss n gunk on the rubber that it slides along and basically scraped it off.
It seems to go up a bit better but still struggling.
What could i use to clean the rubber seals with without smears spreading all over the window?

Cheers :):agree:

Think you need to use a special silicone lubricant for window seals.

Don't use vaseline like I did, makes a right mess

mines sluggish on the drivers side, the passenger is a brand new motor and still dosnt move ,
i believe it to be that the rubber seal has a metal strip in it wich has rusted and expanded- gripping the glass.

You could try cleaning the electrical connections to the motors and make sure there tight. This worked on mine :-)

Cheers guys, Ill try a bit of fairy to get the crud off, maybe open up the gap a touch where it rubs and try the motor connections..
