K- Tec Turbo

I have managed to get a second hand Ktec racing turbo KTR 250 Rollerbearing and wondered if anyone knows what turbo it is and if they are any good? Made by Garrett
Has anybody on here got one fitted to there car??

Believe its a full T25 if i can remember, saw one while ago on a 5 i worked on

Ok cheers, I wondered what car it might be from or if its specialy made for k-Tec. Had a look on website about a grand to buy new :eek: that seems alot to me for a t25 t25?

Thats tunuer prices, always double it! :laugh:

Its not a grands worth when you see whats in there, if they are same as the usual T25 (big if) then they could be based on a Tomcat turbo but then modifed to suit the 5. Whats been done to it may differ to whats other have done but either way it'll work well depending on what you want from your car

Shouldn't be laggy at all, what specs your engine?

rebuilt standard compression, its got a k-Tec cam(mild cam I think) nothing too major!few other bits front mount intercooler 21\2 inch exhaust from turbo and re jetted carb and prob have it on 18psi
