EFI the C1j:agree:

Saying that to get the most out of that turbo high lift cam, vernier and valve springs, and decent intercooling, AFR gauge and decent setup carb, decent flowing exhaust aswell

I think you will use up all the £2000 going EFi...

TBH, what do you want? Reliable engine? Big BHP? Track car? Fast road car? All of it?

if i had 2k id rebuild std lump new std pistons/liners bearings thrust washers, seals oil pump refurb kit. piper 285 vernier pulley high lift springs this prob cost around £700ish?then spend the rest on efi conversion(which will end up saving the 2k after a couple of years depending on mileage, maybe sooner with alot of miles and increasing petrol prices)

Ok I understand that I'd need manifold injecters and the kit scoff provides for Ecu and the loom but what else do I need for efi

Have a look in the Technical - Adding EFI section. All the info is in there. ;)

Ok so I bought a efi mani , bosch red 350cc injectors, Bosch 044 fuel pump so I'm guessing I just need a good fpr any suggestions and if I bought the kit scoff provides on efi parts I'm guessing I can get rid of the distributor with that ???? http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/index.php?productID=276

:agree: That's what I've got for mine.

Lots of others too. SARD, Tomei, Bosch (from any EFI car that run 3 Bar (43.5 psi) fuel pressure)
