Yes David, I've seen the same go on eBay for over £550 upto £650

I might have to do that but I just hate paying eBay fees!

As its vodafone I expect its locked but cannot verify this as its sealed in the box

The Iphones can easily be unlocked...

It is the same process as if say it was locked on vodafone, and you wanted to use an 02 sim.
Most market stalls/phone shops have the ability to do so and legally, and without affecting apple warranty.
Have a quick google, there are even websites that can do it using Itunes. The reason I havent is because you need to register the device with apple via Itunes, and I didnt want to do this as it's means opening it up.
