Paint Codes

Right then peeps, since there seem to be a few more of us with 9's and 11's, I figure we could do getting details for these cars built up such as paint codes, part numbers stuff like that.

So here's my start, my R9 GTL has a paint code of 620 which is a red of some form which doesn't exist anymore, 620 is apparently now a silver/grey colour.

What have others got?

Ah c**k, does this mean I've got a hooky motor or did some lazy frenchie put the wrong number on the plate :/

the mk1 5's used a shonky sticker or a painted stencil on the inner wing. - are you sure you're looking at the right thing?

Good idea Olski, there's few part no.s in this bit already, be handy to know what you can still get from renault these days. I have found some stuff on ebay from factors, old stock etc

I looked on the oval plate same as a Gtt I thought

And we could also build a list of parts off of other cars that would fit parts that are no longer available, such as rear dampers off of a mk2 Clio will fit if you drill out the bottom bushes to 14.02mm

Continuing the list of parts for 9's and 11's

I've had to replace the wishbones on the 9 as they are as straight as Graham Nortan.

Renault want 150+vat each
Motorspares 46quid for the pair :)

Anti roll bar bushes, mine has a 23mm bar, poly jobs for a clio 172 will fit perfectly, inners look like 172 items might fit, got a mate stripping a 172 so ill have a closer look

My poly 172 outers turned up yesterday, perfect fit :agree: here's hoping the inners will be good too.

Oli I'm pretty sure that Renault didn't do many reds and it should be the same red as my 5 Carmen red :) worth a try paint code 348 :)

Already got the number mate, it's 705, thanks to Paul B
