Yes another thread with James Bond setup :P
While passing the mid mark on the temperature organ it starts puffing smoke and for a bit it continues on every gear change. It might be burning oil generally too but that's when i can spot it.

*Oil level is normal, not more not less.
*Week ago did full service on my T25.
*Head has been rebuilt and new hg 6 months ago.
*Valve stems changed too.
*Rocker cover vents into a aluminium catch tank.
The only thing i can fault is the oil return pipe from the turbo being a bit dodgy. It's not a straight run down. So i will check that soon.
Any other recomendations?

Tony Walker's R5 did this on the track last year, it was something to do with the oil breather set up...

Tony?!?!

Was it doing that before your turbo was serviced? Sometimes you find after a turbo is reconditioned and running up to scratch other failing parts become more noticeable i.e. pistonrings due to a much heathier boost.

It did it before but much more, i.e. you couldn't stay on the streetlight for more than 10 secs waiting to go green cause alien interdimensional species would crawl from the sudden Mist. Now it's more like smoking anf puffing making smoke rings etc.
Piston rings ha... Was going to rebuilt engine since i have a major crack on the block loosing coolant, but still was aiming towards Christmas or so...

I remember reading on another thread a fela having same issue and he found that the metal pipe that goes after the oil return to the sump had a T I N Y bent on it so for some reason that was it.

With your breather make sure it can vent to atmosphere. Easy test is to just leave the rocker cover cap off while idling. If smoke disappears then easy fix :)

I have it to a catch tank and it vents fine like a small motorcycles exhaust :P

Woohoo!!! I changed the oil return pipe for a straight down to pipe one since the one i had before on wasn't a strai\ght through but had some bumps and stuff.
2 days now it looks a-ok! SOme occasional puff when it goes at temp but that's it!
Don't want to jinx it but hey, looks good till now!
