running issue

Got a problem started yesterday and wondering if anyone would have an idea what it could be.

Basically car starts and runs ok but when it hits boost it gives a splitter. Kinda sounds like an n/a car running on 3 cylinders. Off boost its fine. Any ideas?

It's a b18ft engine

check ignitions parts.

Leads , coil etc.. genearlly i find the first sign of somthing giving up tends to be when you hit boost.

Sounds like a lead not on, dizzy cap worn or plug gaps too large.

new plugs seem to have done the trick, will do full service at weekend with leads, dizzy etc just to be sure
