First post!

Hello, im new to this forum, just signed up to rtoc as ive bought and am restoring a gt turbo. This is hanging in the engine bay, presume its a temp sensor? What and where is it supposed to be? thanks in advance, Sam

it fits in the heat sheild and works the anti perc boss

it would have been fitted to the turbo heat shield.. i think it switches on the perc, bridge them to test..

if you do have the perc fan fitted, make sure its fused. or it will end in tears :devil:

Perc fan sensor,it fits in the hole of the heat shield,which your car is missing,perc fan sits
behind drivers front light and blows cold air to the base of the carb when it receives a signal from either two of the sensors the other one being located on carb base.As above check fuse next to fan and bridge wires together to see if it works.

That's a heat shield sensor.
There used to be a heat shield surrounding your turbo, this used to live in the top of it which used to turn the anti perc fan on to aid cooling of the carb and fuel lines.
